Corridor decorated in minimalist style
Avoid using furniture that is too wide
Although you want to make sure that all shoes and clothing are hidden in the corridor, you don’t necessarily have to bet on overfull furniture. These visually reduce the space all the more and make it look very dark. Prefer to place built-in cupboards that have a width of no more than 50 cm.
Spread the furniture correctly
No matter how handy the built-in furniture may be, we do not recommend covering a whole wall with it. Even if you use a mirror, the corridor looks way too narrow. Two thirds of a wall is sufficient space for a coat stand in the hallway. You can also store your shoes and clothing elsewhere if, for example, they are not used in the specific season.
Make sure you leave room for a dresser with a mirror. It is best to have a number of drawers where you can store small items that you often need before you leave the hall.
Maybe you now know that according to the mirrors are not allowed to look at the door?
